Misguided Strategies for Rock Creek: Fight Fiercely for Fairway Part III
The two Presentations, 3A and 3B complete the slide demonstration that tries to bring Rock Creek into focus for Fairway.
Fairway residents living along the Creek own the Creek. John St. Clair has gained property for the City from the destruction of homes from the last flash flood of 1998. The City of Mission gave us hope of a Green non-flash flooding decision but changed to a Dump and Flush solution encouraged by Johnson County Storm Water and agreed to by John St. Clair. We are back to where we were before the 1998 Flash Flood, sitting Ducks. Nothing has been done to alleviate or correct changes to avoid the past flash floods from Mission. The only thing changed is that the destruction will be far worse because of humongous Boxes.
Now Roeland Park is building their Flush and Dump system that threatens to cause damage to Fairway residents along Mission Road and Windsor Lane. Flush and Dump on neighbor’s property have always been outside the law.
Fairway is in need of a new and different Mayor that recognizes the dangers to our people and will Fight Fiercely for Fairway.
The included Presentation IIIA and Presentation IIIB are explanations of the outrageous changes made in The City of Mission. PresentationIIIA , it describes the disparity in size between Mission and Fairway’s use of Rock Creek. PresentationIIIB, it describes the methods being used to bamboozle everyone, including our Fairway Mayor and Council, and suggests solutions so Fairway may Fight Fiercely.
